 Emily Rose Compagno is an American lawyer, TV host, and an ex- National Football League, (NFL) cheerleader. She is currently a contributing writer for Fox News Channel (FNC). She is the co-host of Outnumbered and frequently appears on Gutfeld! late night. Compagno, the daughter Katherine Bertsch and John Compagno, was born in Oakland's Oak Knoll Naval Hospital. Her father is Italian descent. She has two sisters.Her great-grandfather William Harry Bertsch earned the Silver Star during World War the "Rose" in Emily's name is a tribute to Bertsch's wife. She earned a bachelor's degree. She earned her degree from the University of Washington with a B.A. in political science. She was awarded the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Cadet of the Quarter award. She received her degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law with a J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2006.Emily lives in New York City. She is active in non-profits that help US veterans and law enforcement agencies K9, and Native American causes.
